Burobill & import export Architecture will build LA REINE – House with many rooms.
A student- and neighbourhood project with a public green connection from Place de la Reine to Het huis der Kunsten in Schaarbeek.
Our proposal is a radical but historically emphatic exercise in the re-use of 3 existing houses in connection to the public spaces. A new extension is added on the roofs for the student housing.
The studenthub hosts an ambitious and diverse social program: a green public corridor, grand café, forum, eventspace, co-working and co-housing for the community and students in the area.
We form a great team with iearchitecture , burobuiten, roelandtweelinckx, limeengineering, eaplusarch.
